This panel discussion will explore how the U.S. military can better leverage commercial space capabilities and what policy measures can be taken to support a thriving U.S. commercial space industry. The event will also include a brief introduction of the Aerospace Security Project. The purpose of this project is to examine the technological, budgetary, and policy issues affecting the air and space domains. The project’s focus will be in three areas: space security, air dominance and long range strike, and commercial and civil space.
