The purpose of the Dupont Summit is to promote interdisciplinary dialogue about pressing issues related to science, technology and the environment. The conference mirrors the interest of the PSO and its partners in promoting conversation about current policy concerns.
Presented every year on the first Friday of December, the conference brings together academics, government, business and social leaders from a variety of backgrounds, for discussion about issues that include but that are not limited to Energy, National Security, Technology and Innovation, and Space. At the 2017 Dupont Summit, Aerospace Security researchers Thomas G. Roberts and Kaitlyn Johnson presented a talk sharing the results of Escalation and Deterrence in the Second Space, a report from the CSIS Aerospace Security Project.
