Please join the CSIS Aerospace Security Project on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 3:30pm EDT for a two-part event on how the U.S. Space Force is advancing sensemaking and connectivity in the space domain to enable the joint fight. The event will begin with an engaging fireside conversation with two U.S. Space Force leaders and end with an industry thought-leader panel discussion.

This will be a hybrid event hosted at CSIS and livestreamed from this webpage, with the opportunity for in person and online viewers to submit live questions from this event page for both segments of the event. In-person attendance will be limited, please RSVP to secure a spot.


3:30pm – 4:15pm

Clayton Swope, Deputy Director of the CSIS Aerospace Security Project, will sit down with U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command, leaders Colonel Bryon McClain, Program Executive Officer for Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power, and Shannon Pallone, Program Executive Officer for Battle Management Command, Control & Communications, to unpack the trends and capabilities in space domain awareness, combat power, connectivity, and integration that are key to operating in contested environments and supporting the joint force.

4:20pm – 5:15pm

Scott Stapp, CSIS Non-Resident Senior Associate, will moderate an industry panel joined by Frank Di Pentino, Chief Strategy Officer, True Anomaly, Amy Hopkins, VP and General Manager of National Security Space, Peraton, Stephen Kitay, Senior Director of Azure Space, Microsoft, and Nate Notargiacomo, Head of HEO USA Inc, to discuss the enabling components, capabilities, and role of commercial providers in expanding the competitive advantage of U.S. space forces.
