The Center for Strategic and International Studies, a bi-partisan research organization in Washington, D.C., is hosting an event with key national security space leaders and we would like to incorporate questions from middle to high school aged students into the event.

As part of the event, we are looking for submissions from middle to high school students who are interested in the aerospace industry. The event will feature Ms. Mandy Vaughn, President of VOX Space, Dr. Ellen Stofan, Director of the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum, Dr. Claire Leon of Graduate Program Director, Systems Engineering and Engineering Management at Loyola Marymount University, and Dr. Morgan Dwyer from the Center for Strategic and International Studies. This special event will be released online the week of October 12th, as a follow-on to a live discussion on October 9th: Leading Rapid Technological Change in the Space Community: Perspectives of the Women in Charge

Video Question Submission: If your student has a question to ask any or all of our space experts, we encourage them to record a short video (no longer than one minute) including: name, city, and their question for the panelists. An example question might be “Will we live and work in space in the near future?” or “What can you do to get involved with aerospace at a young age?” We ask that a parent or guardian download the release form below, fill it out, and submit the release along with the video file to aerospace@csis.org on or before October 8th. Aerospace
